Hi, I'm Brad Pineau
I'm a software engineer based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, with 25 years of experience across the full spectrum of product development, from architecture and design to deployment and operations. I founded Pineau Labs to build AI-powered products using agentic engineering.
Over my career, I've built medical software platforms, led engineering teams as CTO, acquired and scaled a technology company, and shipped products used by thousands. Now I'm applying all of that experience through a new lens: agentic AI development, where I work alongside autonomous coding agents to build products at a pace that wasn't possible before.
I use tools like Claude Code, Codex CLI, and OpenClaw daily. Not as experiments, but as core production tools. The combination of deep engineering experience and frontier AI tooling is what makes Pineau Labs different.

My Journey
From a kid with a Tandy 1000 to building with agentic AI.
First Lines of Code
Started programming at age 10, writing GW-BASIC on a Tandy 1000.
Joined Timeless Technologies
Started as a co-op student at Timeless Technologies, then joined full-time after completing my degree.
UPEI Computer Science Graduate
Graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island with a Major in Computer Science.
Acquired the Timeless Group of Companies
Acquired the company with a business partner and became CTO, building market-leading medical and veterinary software products.
Founded Pineau Labs
Exited Timeless and launched Pineau Labs as an independent software company.
