I'm a software engineer in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, with 25 years of experience across the full spectrum of product development. Pineau Labs is my independent software company: fixed-price sprints that take ideas to working prototypes, prototypes to MVPs, and existing products safely into the AI era.
Over my career I've built HIPAA-grade medical software for more than a decade, led engineering teams as CTO, acquired and scaled a technology company, and shipped products used by thousands. I hold 4 patents in software engineering.
Now I use Claude Code and Codex every day. Not as experiments, but as core production tools. I built Fitly AI with them: an AI-native product where one agent runs a user's whole fitness life. That hands-on experience is what I bring to every engagement.
